An impecable ring formed 'round the gibbous moon this evening,
As warm winds played the trees above us,
Mars seated to the right made for a beautiful moment shared with friends.
It has widened over the last hours, more distinct and growing,
like you and me
Enveloping the dome we call Home.
Sweet dreams
Spring is near.

I noticed the glowing halo around that big ol' half moon while walking the dogs last night. It's so wonderfully mild and breezy out tonight--I have my window open, and the fresh air is blowing the neighbor's wind chimes.
I expect Peter Pan and Tinkerbell to come flying in any moment.
The weatherman on WBIR? reported that they'd gotten a lot of calls from "concerned people" regarding the moon ring, and reassured all viewers that "everything is OK". Whew! Took a load of my mind...
Spring ain't close enough for me, but every day progresses into the next.
